Guidelines for Testing, Installation, Maintenance, and Calibration of Pavement Sensors
Project Overview
The overall goal of this effort was to promote the development of national and/or international standards for testing and calibrating road weather surface sensors. This was accomplished in two parts. In Part 1, actions are being taken to promote the idea of national/international standards and procedures for testing and calibration of road surface condition sensors. Part 2 sets aside funds to contribute to a coordinated effort to develop testing and calibration standards and procedures.
